Frequently asked Questions and Answers

GENERAL QUESTIONS

How do you use wax melts?

Our wax melts can be used in both tea-light wax warmers and electric wax warmers.

To use, break off, scoop, or pour (dependant on product) the desired amount into the well/dish of your wax warmer. If you’re using a traditional tea light warmer you will need to use a standard 4hr tea light candle in the bottom of your burner. If you’re using an electric wax warmer, simply plug it in, switch it on & you’re ready to go.

Now you can sit back and relax, whilst the beautiful aromas drift throughout your home.

Are your products handmade?

All our products are made by hand, in our home studio in Buckinghamshire.

What is your environmental & sustainability policy?

We are incredibly passionate about the conservation of our planet and made the conscious decision to not only create luxury products that are cruelty free, Vegan-friendly, and ethically sourced, but to ensure that everything right down to our packaging is as kind to the environment as possible.

Whilst we are far from perfect, we are committed and continually striving to do and be better for future generations to come. At present all orders are carefully packed using Recycled FSC® certified boxes from responsibly managed forests, biodegradable packing peanuts, acid free tissue paper and Kraft packaging tape.

Our wax melts come packaged in biodegradable glassine bags and are labelled using FSC® certified paper. Our Signature samples that are included with every order are predominantly made with the left-over wax from the production of our larger melts – meaning no wax is ever wasted.

We source only the finest ingredients and work with suppliers that are based locally wherever possible. It was imperative to us that our products would not contain any animal products, nor would any of our products be tested or have any association with animal testing. The colour work in all our products is created using non-hazardous, vegan and cruelty free dyes & ethically sourced pure grade mica. The glitter you see used in our creations is plastic and cruelty free, made from plant-based vegetable starch.

In an ever-changing world we know there is always room for improvement & we welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have.

How's best to store my wax products?

Our wax products are made from soy wax and should be handled & stored with care. If stored correctly in a cool, dark place our wax products can last 12+ months after purchase.

Are your products safe for pets?

We’re huge animal lovers & have pets ourselves. However, whilst our products have been created in line with IFRA standards, which are there to ensure the safe use of fragrances, these standards are aimed at humans, and they do not produce standards regarding the safety of fragrance in relation to pets.  So, whilst we have made every effort to ensure our products are as safe as can be, every pet and animal can react differently, especially if they have underlying health or respiratory issues. Therefore, we like to err on the side of caution & cannot advise that they are 100% safe.

We have personally used our products safely & without any issues for the last 4 years. Nevertheless, it is down to the discretion of each pet owner – after all you know your pet better than anyone & we would recommend speaking to a veterinarian if you’re concerned. We always advise keeping products out of reach from pets, to minimise the risk of consumption.

Candles & Fragrance products should NEVER be used around Birds.
